Tds meter reading 140's !!!!!

i started noticing more and more red slime/alge on my l/r. the first thing i test was the water and my tds was reading int 140's and its probly time for me to change my filters anyway because its been 8 months since i bought the unit.

i have a typhoon 3 from air water and ice

my question is should i buy the filters straight from the air water and ice website or does anyone kno where to get them cheaper. any response helpfull thanks for reading.

Can I ask - are you getting the 140 reading on the water coming directly out of the ro unit?
You didn't test the tank water did you?

You may want to change the membrane as well since you are reading that high. AW&I is the best place price wise that I have seen. Doesn't get much better then them.

I got my new filters and RO membrane
from Amazon for 40 bucks TDS 0 now

What's the tap reading.

Also what's the reading directly from the rodi, not sitting in the container?
