Another great swap organized by Manhattan Reefs happened yesterday and I think it was great! First of all, I wanted to say thank you for all the people organizing this event, Josh, Kathy, Randy and everyone else who put their efforts for this thing to happen. And second of all, kudos for all the volunteers who helped with the setup, during the swap and with cleanup- without them this event cannot exist.
The doors opened at 10Am, but there was a huge crowd already waiting for the opening:
Bodyguards
Lines
Minutes before 10AM...
And the crowd goes wild!
The best thing about the swap is that you can meet old buddies and make new friends
We had a touch tank for kids that was a big hit!
Vendors and their displays:
There are always beautiful fish to buy at the swap:
We also had two great speakers (don't forget to check interviews with our speakers that's gonna be posted in the blog, thanks to James)
Dr. Craig Bingman's speech Reef Chemistry 201
That's Randy
And that's Dr. Craig
Second speech : Tony Vargas--Successful Reef Aquariums from Around the World
