Definitely something to look into we should get a head count and I will work it out w/ a travel agency..I got skills and I might be able to get in touch w/ an old contact if they are still there I used to be sponsored and get free air fare with one of my past business ventures :Up_to_som

Oh I actually was curious about another thing..How do vendors bring all their stuff? Road trip it? Ship corals? I was thinking about this the last couple days. It must be a pain in the arse to bring all that stuff traveling across the country to a new spot every year.

I want to chime in real quick, downtown Iowa has an area that reminds me of Nashville. Tons of small to medium sized bars with live music and young folks abound. Lots of restaurants with really good food too.

Don't get me wrong.....it can't hold a candle to NY but Iowa was much more fun than I had expected.

I say we start another thread like a RSVP one and people put their names down BUT I think their should be a little down payment so we know a real number and don't have to worry about people flaking out... Triggerman if you need a hand setting up or calling around just let me know

FYI, I'm sure there will be at least one free flight to be divided amongst all the travelers. That'll help to defray the cost a bit.

Having the MR community come together as a group would definitely bring the cost down. you could travel as a group for airline purposes and get a nice discount. But to achieve this all who are going have to participate if they haven't already made their plans. I have been to many MACNA events and you always get to see what others are doing with their tanks and how you can learn from them. From around the corner to the other side of the world, reefers come and attend the event. But although the event has corals and fish to take home, for me its about the experience and information you take home instead. Hope those that are on the fence about attending will make the decision to go, as this is a great event.
