Also, what kind of test kits do you have? Maybe we can help you use them :). To my knowledge, kent nano a+b is just calcium and alkalinity in fancy bottles, so you need to be testing for Ca and dKH, as well as pH when you dose them. The reason for this is that both solutions are bases, so when you add them to your tank, your pH increases a little bit (14-7:Base,6-0 Acid on the pH scale). This is fine normally because the increase is so small, but if you're dosing when you don't need to you're raising the pH too much. I'm not saying dosing a little extra is going to raise your pH to 14, but it could get up in the 10-11 range, which is bad.

If this is the case, your hammer should recover. Don't cut off the dead heads just yet!

OK....turns out it was the position, i stood it more upright and the coral recovered within hours, if not minutes. Now my 2 heads less cause of my own stupidity =(. I bought the kits used.....i dont even think i got all the chemicals =(
