Where to mount Neptune apex controller?

I just got a apex controller and was wondering where to mount everything. It says to keep it free from moisture, is it ok to mount it in the stand where the sump is or should I keep it out the stand?

my advice is to keep it away from tank and stand..if water ever drips out..its gonna get wet. ask di yoshi..it happened to him. so now he mounts his controller away from the tank n stand..

It could be inside the tank on the door or somewhere away from the drip off your hands when messing around in your tank or water change spills

I wouldn't suggest keeping it inside the stand. Your sump and skimmer usually makes it humid in there. Not to mention you usually want your electrical outlets above your tank, in case water drips down. My 2 cents

True good point ming I was baseing my suggestion on ricwilli's setup where he has no skimmer nor sump under his tank its all plumbed into his basement I've seen acouple of setups this way but than again I don't knwo what his layout is and equipment placement
