Just a general test kit question

What does everyone use? Regular liquid kits or something more sophisticated?

There are many that can swear by Salifert... Every test will give you baseline calculations, and some are better than others.
Just remember get whatever you can afford that will give you the best approximation to the conditions of your tank.

Salifert are the most widely used test kits. Elos are considered a step up from Salifert.
