Is it possible to get this from doing too large of a water change?About 10g on 34g tank once a week?I'm getting diatoms on some of the rocks and one area of the sandbed.Fish and coral are fine but the Diatom is so unsightly.Yes,I use RO/DI and run the Phosban reactor.Smaller water changes?leave it alone?Thoughts?I did add some pieces before and after the swap so maybe it disturbed the balance?

i did 25- 30 gallons a week had diatom come into the tank now i only do 15 gallon once a week and no problems
so i would say yes

It's weird cause When the lights come on.I don't see it but only during the course of the day it gets worse.Right now I'm on a shorter lighting period mostly because I'm running hot at 82-83 with the chiller pump being down.Waiting for new Impeller.
