RK SID ver. 2 to borrow/rent

Anyone have a RK SID ver.2 module that I can borrow/rent to test my RK with? Trying to troubleshoot the PC4 and I'm about to pull my hairs out. :frown::frown: Thanks in advance!

Well if you updated your module... did you update the PC4 as well?

The RK is not updated. Neither is the PC4. But for some reason, the PC4 doesn't seem to work through the head unit. I can get the PC4 to work in manual mode. But beyond that, it doesn't work. I was thinking maybe the MyReef program can do the programming but the SID unit is version 1, not version 2 which the program needs.

I would update both units to the 2.0 so they can read each other.
If the head is on one update... the pc4 needs to be on that same update to communicate with each other.

Not sure if it is version 2 or not, I got the RKL's about a year ago... If its v2, I have an extra you could have if you felt like driving out east a ways. Problem is I am going away tomorrow and will be back Sunday night, but if you are still in need of one when I return, PM me and we can set something up.

Hm. That might be the problem then. The PC4 is on version 1.07 and the head unit is on 1.11. Hey Dreutz, thanks for the offer, I might take you up on it! Version 2 should have a sticker on it that says version 2 if it's the black unit. If it's the silver unit with the USB plug on it, then that's also a version 2.
