ANYONE WILLING TO DONATE 90 GAL OR ANY 4FT-6ft TANK FOR A SCHOOL?

Hey!! I am an educator and i've just been given the opportunity to create a interactive marine habitat for a middle/high school. This is a group of youth with little or no experience with marine life up close and personal.I've known everyone here to be helpful and generous as i was starting up. I have no budget so for the early going it's all me.
I am thinking freshwater(less expensive) then working slowly towards salt(eventually). Some of the students saw my tank and talked about it at school and grew enough support for me to get the opportunity to put a display tank in the school. the school is Wagner in L.I.C. i will pick up the tank.
I stocking and aqua-scaping will wipe me out so my best bet is a donation and build from there. i can post pictures before and after of the space,hell i'll even put your name stating you donated the tank right on the space! I don't need a stand. just tank and anything else anyone wants to send my way.
Thank you for reading and as i am passionate about young people learning,as well as fish keeping. This is a dream come true.

i have a 120 gallon its 72 inches long but the plastic frame is cracked

I have a 4' long about 18" high... With metal stand... Yours, if you want it.. Nothing wrong with it, my uncle upgraded and it's in the garage.. It has tops and a basic light to get you started... Not reef ready....

Wow,i truly can't believe the support i've gotten so far! this has completely changed my wife's outlook on the community as she could never understand why i spend so much time on here or what my fascination with fish was.lol i've said this several times on here,there is no community with better people!! ok here we go......
StBarnabas i'll probably start with fresh water,although it makes me sad to pass up fish and corals :-( i do plan on going salt with it eventually and will probably call on you for expertise as well.
Jerl77 i have an offer for a tank,i'm going to go for.i'm tempted for a 120(it's 90) but i said i would come take it and like to keep my word. thank you though.
4fish,i have a tank,but i probably could use the 30 as a refugium or sump. lol,i'm dreaming past my abilities as i have no Know How on building one.greatly appreciated.
Aroo26 i'm picking up a 90,thank you for your generosity.but i could use the lights and tops as it will not come with either. only if your willing to part with it.

Also I have afican dwarf frogs in my fresh water tank and a big pleco... If you want I can give you one dwarf frog and the pleco... The pleco I don't like he's too big.. The dwarf frog is cool and would be a nice addition to your tank... At least in my opinion...

With the generosity of this community, I was able to set up a 72g. reef in the lobby of my son's public elementary school in Brooklyn--- been running for 4 years now. It is a tremendously rewarding thing to do. Good luck.

Prattreef,i have no doubts. anytime i've ever had a question or a need this community has stepped up. i would love to check out that tank one day. I would love to put a tank in my son's school. one day maybe. thank you for the well wishes!

Just wondering, how do you plan on caring for the tank when you're on vacation, the school's out for the week and done for the summer?

I'd probably just stick with freshwater, maybe go with a planted community tank.

Skene i just feel you should know i tend to look at your post just enjoy your profile pic.loli just can't wrap my head around it. i will keep you posted,as i'mnot sure if i'm going to go for juvies SA/NA,planted (thanks to aqua pro now it's stuck in my head as a possiblilty) or africans.I have to figure out the filtration first. veryinterested in sumps but i may just go cannister.Camanuch has me intrigued,but i would first have to learn the ways of the force....well,sump.

Bizzarro i have pretty much all year round access to the school,but that has come across my mind. i grew up with the custodian(small world) so i may just teach him the art of feeding. if i have kick @-- filtration,i won't have to worry about water changes on vacation times.
