i got a pygmy angel a rusty a flameback and a flame angel all are the reef safe ones ive had them for 4 years my water is fine except for a little nitrate that i can never get rid of so i should either get a squamosa or crocea then and also should i place it on a rock or sand bed and do i need to tadget feed

Im actually willing to let my Deresa go, it really should be in a bigger tank Im running out of space in my little 36G

its yours for $60, its super healthy, ive had it for a year, never had any problems, its about 8 inches from tip to tip and has a nice blue rim

Croceas, require the highest light of all tridacna clams. They can handle somewhat more flow then maximas. Croceas can handle strong fluctuations in water parameters (but not too much) They dont like to be touched and there byssus gland is easily damaged if moved, which leads to death most of the time.
There both hard clams to keep, IMO Maximas are the "hadrier species" of the two (not by much)
There are a lot of things to look for in a clam before Purchasing one, i suggest you do some reading, and look to pay more for one around 4"
