Too much bubble in the main tank.

Got a 125 gallon super skimmer with needle wheel and I wish to directly use it with the main tank without a big sump. I only have a small ecosystem 60 which cannot even house the power head of this super sized cannon.

Is there any way to minize the bubbles.

Yes...wait for the skimmer to break in; that will reduce the amount of microbubbles it returns to the tank.

Will this initial bubbling hurt my LS in the main tank?

I see the coral shrink when there are too much bubbles in the tank.

you have to wait for the break in and instead of having it full force try to cut it back some.... i had the same problem with my prizm skimmer when it was on full there would be alot of microbubbles but when i cut it back there was no problem.. wait till its broken in then turn it up and see what happens..

im not a user of the superskimmers but can u incorporate some type of foam were the water comes out of that goes into the main tank.. until its broken in...

The SS directions recomend that you cut back on the input of the skimmer pump. Crank it down a little so the water is going in is slower. My step father had the same issue... but it settled down after a few days.

i c, but how? Is there a knob somewhere or I have make up a tube myself and clamp it down? I did not get it with a manual-it was from MR Prettyboy.

There is a knob near the pump which limits the flow going into the skimmer (Or there should be).
