How do I remove my anemone

My giant anemone is 10 inches or bigger and I want to remove it for a trade and want to do it as easily as possible , so how do I get it to let go?

Get under it with a metro card then once u get a small peace of the base out everthing else will peal right off. However, till will cause it to shrink and some stress but just removing it will cause some streess regardless. Otherwise, just wait till it moves to the sand bed.

if you can take the rock out, hang it upside down over your tank and it will release. or put an ice cube in a plastic bag and touch its foot.

Ice cube. You can freeze rodi and put in plastic bag just to be safe.

Salad tongs. It's like Colt 45. Works every time.

I got mine off the front glass of my tank by pointing a powerhead right at its foot and it slowly let go n moved

Yeah the powerhead is probably the best way to get it moving, that's funny i cant get mines to stay put..............

ice cubes works really well and it doesn't hurt the animal!!!

ice Cubes do hurt the animal.

If i put an ice cube on ur hand in the same spot it will def burn you and leave a mark.


What kind of anemone is it.

its a giant green one i believe its a green bubble tip it has purple tips its very nice but just very very large for my tank and her mouth is about 2 inches or maybe three across
shes a monster
