Stunner strips ???

I was thinking about doing the nanotuners upgrade on my 6 galon jbj but now that I see they make 6 inch stunner strips I may buy 1 453 blue and 1 50/50 and retrofit them into the hood. My question is will this help with growth or just add some color/shimmer to the tank ?

Mostly they will only act as accent (actinic) lighting.

3- current USA lumen strips with the adapter and 3 port connector will add blue to the tank. Did a big difference when I had my bio cube. So, stunner are just the same I'm sure. You would need 1 - 12 inch reef brite to get a GOOD blue addition

If thats the case would it be advisable to change the stock 50/50 bulb to a daylight and use 2 of the 453 blue stunners as actinic ?

6 inch stunner will act as moon lights. Look into there Panorama led

That Panorama is nice strong light at 1w each.I had the all blues on my RSM 34g.

Thanks for the input but I need to keep my hood and I dont think the panorama will fit. Nanotuners makes a drop in led kit so now I just have to decide if I really need to spend 400 on a light for a 6 gsllon tank ???? I think I might just get the 3.18 pc light upgrade with two 50/50 lamps and 1 actinic
