Those pink zoas are bright!! Is that your candy cane? I wish mine would branch out like that. Even spykes thought it was weird the way they were growing.

here is a shot of what it looks like right now. still only have 20 lbs of rock in it, but i like it so far

Looks pretty awesome. I like the abundance of room on the side. Did you tie your rock together with zip ties or epoxy? or did you just precariously stack them one on top of another?

jennie, what happen to the rest of the rock that was there? Very nice addition to the tank. Those zoos look nice.

that is the rock that was there, just stacked it differently, there are three large pieces and they fit together. i never epoxy incase i have to move things around a bit, but i think i may after i am finished getting all of my rock. i will be putting more rock in. right now there is about 8" on either side of the formation i have, i want to leave it like this in the center and add off the sides a bit, but i want rock that is similar to what i already have with the holes and stuff through it, my fish seem to really enjoy it

finally some updates. my dad sent me the starboard, it is 3/4" thick and i had him cut it a little bit small so detrious would go over to the little areas around the edge and i will be able to remove it easily with airline tubing.
also fry made me a stand for my light, thanks again works perfect, and i love it, just have to paint it. but here it is, and some pics of my new zoas

more updates.....

got a blasto today from northern aquarium. it has 13 polyps, but 2 might not make it, they have some skeleton showing which can be seen in the pic. but the polyps are huge, bigger than a quarter

and now here are my blue zoas i got a few weeks ago, getting bluer and opening and spreading great

these are from jim, have grown about 6 new polyps since i got them

Move the Blasto lower in the tank, they don't like alot of light. Actually try to place it in a shaded area. Blasto are very sensitive to water conditions and light and alot of times once a polyp close it mayn't reopen.

yes they are now at the bottom, just placed there till i could clear a spot and for pics. i just hope it stays healthy

kris~ it is an optical illusion lol, it is not that clean, it has a trench around it that i let the detrious go into and then syphon it out.

haha spykes. i don't plan on it just yet. gonna wait till it is all healthy i almost did not see it, it was turned around, and i saw the label on the tank that said candy. i had the lfs guy turn it around and i was like i will take it

and i got it for a steal
