I think our completely redesigned Mitras Lightbar 3 product page is really worth a read. Everything about the Lightbar 3 in one place — the five LED setups with their full spectra, the LED population per model, length and power tables, mounting and configuration options — clearly laid out.

A quick overview of what it's about (today's newsletter about the Mitras Lightbar 3):

Precision light, shaped to your tank

The Mitras Lightbar 3 is a modular LED luminaire for freshwater and marine aquariums — and one of the most capable light bars available today. High-performance LEDs, excellent power density, entirely passively cooled.

What sets it apart is range. Five LED setups cover everything from planted freshwater to coral reef and refugium. Seven separately adjustable color channels let you tune the spectrum to what your aquarium actually needs — natural or blue-accented, for plant growth or for coral fluorescence.

Every model combines freely with any other, so the light follows the tank, not the other way around. And with lengths from 40 to 200 cm in 10 cm steps, plus a choice of housing finish, there's a fit for practically any aquarium.

Connected to a ProfiLux controller, all of that becomes programmable down to the channel — sunrise, moonlight, cloud cover and thunderstorms included.

We've rebuilt the Mitras Lightbar 3 product page from the ground up: every setup, every spectrum, the full length and power data, the mounting and configuration options — clearly laid out, all in one place. Whether you already know the Lightbar 3 or are meeting it for the first time, it's worth a look.

I came across this video from Brightwell Aquatics about a remarkable setup and thought I'd share it here — it fits the thread topic perfectly.

What brings it into this thread: it uses GHL equipment, including the Mitras Lightbar 3 over all three aquariums. Watch the light itself: crisp, clear and evenly spread across the whole tank, no hot spots, no dark corners, no disco-effect.

Something I always look for in tank videos is whether the light flickers on camera. Point a phone at most LEDs and you'll see it straight away. Here you won't — the Lightbar 3 is genuinely flicker-free.

Here's the video:
