LFS Watch (not review thread)

I think thread that members can chip in info what good buys or interesting things they saw in the LFS would be very helpful for shoppers before going out there. Kind of like a news feed for the local shoppers.

Please refrain from doing a review of the LFS because there are threads made for that.

Examples:
Yellow tang at $5 in XXX shop is worth mentioning because it's a great great deal
Yellow tang at $95 in XXX shop is worth mentioning because normally not that high, there may be something to it
Yellow tang at $25 in XXX shop is not worth mentioning unless the XXX shop never carries them before
You make the call.

Agreed, there is such tendency here.


I frequently use this kind of LFS watch thread in FW stuff before going to shop, and people do keep it very clean there.

Eg. $1.5 for otto in XXX shop. (After seeing they have them, I went and bought 6)

Fishtown has cleaner shrimp for $12. They are about 1.5 - 2 inches big.
I bought one about 3 months ago. Still alive. (Knock on wood)

Just to be clear, do you mean currently(as in today, yesterday..) or do you mean 3 months ago they have cleaner shrimp?

I'm sorry for being unclear. They still had them yesterday when I was there.
