A DIY question

I currently have a rimless 57 gallon tank and was thinking of doing a DIY led light stand. I do not want to hang them from my ceiling bc I feel the tank loses it's sleekness. I have seen some set ups with metal poles mounted behind the tank with a curve on the top and the lights suspended that way. Can anyone guide me towards that kind of build and how to do it?

Ikea and home depot has some wall shelve brackets. I seen some people using them. Choose a stylish one and that's it.

My concern with hanging the fixtures is how do you keep your kids from looking directly into the light. Am I being over cautious or is this a rational concern?

Tell them not to or they will go blind forever. Works for my college friends.

Or, obviously, build a hood. That's the only other way.

That is "EXACTLY" what I was planning on doing for my new tank (for the most part, just different bends)

Works well. I have 2 on my tank. Don't forget to drill the appropriate holes so you can use the piping as wiring conduits.

that is what I was thinking. But I may need to use larger pip, maybe even 1 inch pipe. I may be looking at wingo Leds and I will have either 2 or 3 strips, so I would need to get a few wires through it.
