salt ?

i have been using coralife salt (puple orange bucket). the cap must not have been on properly or tigh enough and now the salt is hard as a ROCK!

is it basically useless?

should i be using a better quality salt?
if so, which one? as always tia

no, just use a hammer on the outside of the bucket. then throw the chunks in your mixing bucket. It just might take a little longer to dissolve.

Dont listen to the ESV fanboys. its not all its cracked up to be.

Same thing happened to me I just broke it up and let the chunks dissolve, No problems.

solid point! sump pump pit now has a cover, so thats one hazard out of the way

I got 4 buckets of Coralife salt and all came in individual 50g plastic bags.

These are at least over 1 year old.
