Aqua Illumination mounting advice needed.

Hey folks. I'm purchasing some AI units for my 48" tank this week. I don't have the option to hang them from the ceiling as I have 20 foot ceilings, and don't want to do it. Their tank mount sits way too low, and close to the waters surface. Any one have any advice on modifying the legs so I can set the lights higher away from the waters surface?

Building a canopy will be a problem, as I am not even close to being a woodworker.

That looks great. Can you share how you accomplished it? My tank is 48"x24.5"x24.5". The top of the tank is 57" high when sitting on stand. Any help would be appreciated. This is the best I've seen so far, as I'd rather not drill into the wall behind the tank.

I am also getting 2 AI's for my new 75 rimless. I will be making mounts as in the first pic. Well similar since I am not using the AI rails
