hawiian red mangroves

I have a ton of hawiian red mangroves im going to start selling off.they filled a 20l I forget how many I have probably 50-75.leafs and roots $7 each discounts for multiples.

Water and light lol they're very easy.most people put them in a sump with a light or a refugium. But I've seen them in display tanks.the roots grow in the water the leaves grow above the water.if the tank is to deep some people float them in Styrofoam with a hole poked in it for the mangrove to go threw

Are the leaves already sprouting? I was thinking about a couple for a 75 gallon tank.
I can meet at Fishtown or mail. Probably only want 3 max.

Yepmost have leaves and all have roots.

If you look around hawiian mangroves are much heartier then Florida mangroves

im in smithtown, i work in plainview ,and im in wantagh afew times a week.

im 95% sure there is no difference between florida mangroves and hawaian mangroves....the only difference i do know of is that in hawaii that there is no collection laws where as florida has certain collection laws. they both are the same species, Rhizophora mangle, and overall it is a very hardy plant no matter where it came from....I've been growing them for like 20 years in all sorts of conditions ranging from fresh/salt/LI sound water/planted in soil etc....they will grow fine with any lighting and dont seem to be phased by anything unless temperature drops to below 32 degrees, they dont handle frost well and is just about the only reason why the wont grow any further north than florida and maybe a little further up

tryinng to compare species from different locations doesnt really work cleaner wrasses for example africans generally do fine and from else where do not.ive herd it and read from sevral sources aswell as personal experience Hawaiian mangroves are a heartier strain in aquaria because they do better in constant warmer water.growing them in an outdoor garden id recomend florida mangroves.

not trying to bash anyone just saying its the same species and ive been growing them for as long as ive been visiting my grandparents in florida and have never lost any in the past 20 years other than when someone else neglects to water them when i am not around and a few to storms because they weren't brought inside sorry if it came off as that the only true difference i have ever read about is just the collection laws(not saying there isnt more) but in my research have never seen another difference and that is true with fish and could be true with plants as well but as for the cleaner wrasse i thought it mainly was the reason because they have different diets at different parts of the world but could be wrong on that
