My ph is at 8.7

It sounds like you are very likely getting inaccurate pH readings. A pH of 8.4 is unusual indoors without using a high pH additive, such as kalk, and a pH of 8.7 is bordering on completely infeasible without a high pH additive. If you are using a pH meter, I'd recalibrate it with some fresh buffers.

I made a mistake it was 84.7 so I drop it to 84.0 I think I over reacted also I feed the feather star fish microve I ly had them for 2 months

You have a 400gallon reef tank and you dont know these super simple terms? Have you researched reef tanks at all? Read forums? Google? I read reefcentral.com for 8 months before I even bought a bucket of salt.

I STRONGLY suggest you start reading all the sticky threads in the general and newbie forums here. Or like get a cup a coffee or GCHAT a senior member to make sure you dont waste tons of cash and do this all wrong (which it seems like)
