What would you call the descendants of such crosses and do you know what's the name of similar crosses?
We recently have a name "Smorcularis" which seems kind of close in terms of the crosses.
Many members in the swap were mistaking my Black Ice crosses O/W as Picasso or regular Black Ice probably because the water is too cloudy plus I don't have another fish for sample comparing, here are couple pics showing the difference of various fish. I will try to post more comparison pics int he future.
1st Pic: note how orange is the tangerine vs. the yellowish orange on the BlacK Ice crosses B/W
2nd Pic: the Black Ice crosses B/W is 0.25" shorter and younger but yet you see the color tone of it much darker than the Black Ice on the right hand side. This indicates the new fish will very black when grown up.
3rd Pic: a more pronounced comparison
