If your getting that much evaporation in your room at night, your room may be especially dry. You might want to get a humidifier so that the aquarium doesn't evaporate so much.

what about light? I have a piece of plexiglass over my tank, with holes so that it doesn't fog, but it always does, or it gets water drops all over. Am I cutting the light from reaching the corals? The tank is pretty bright as it is, but i was always wondering? Also anybody knows where I an find clear netting to make a screen? The one they sell at home depot are dark and I feel like they would block the light. Didn't mean to hijack your tread, Home depot sells plexiglass like i said I use it, and leave it on, all the times, it does cut down on evaporation, also depending on how long your tank is, plexiglass will bend toward the middle.

The plexi is definitely cutting down on your lighting.
How thin is the mesh from Home Depot? If it is regular window screening, that is too tight a weave to make a cover.

Regular window screen is not a good plan. The Ace Hardware stores sell the 'pond netting' but no idea if you have any of them near you and it's tough to find at this time of year.

Sitting at the swap?? Sitting? lol The only sitting I have done in the past 2 days was when I fell over to sleep..lol
Not sure if you stayed for the Raffle but I was the one who read off all of the winning numbers. Sorry I didn't get to meet you too!
