Acrylic Cement on Long Island ?

I know I can get it in the city but I try to avoid going there Lol. Anybody know of someplace on Long Island that carries it? Anybody have any they want to sell? Pickup tomorrow morning if you do.

Reef not much. Enough to glue 1 baffle that is 15"x10" in place in my sump.

Neither lowes nor Depot carry it. They try to sell you something that they say will bond it but it's not the correct glue.

Did you try riverhead h.d. they seem to have more of a selection.

The chemicals in that glue are extremely toxic after prolonged contact. Some states cannot sell it by law to the ordinary consumer. I have never seen any in HD or Lowes and I think it is due to that.
I found some Weld-On 16, I think, in a glass store in BKN that works with acrylic.
Try those kinds of places on Long Island.

S&F Supply in Farmingdale I knows has 3/4/16/40 along with the needle injectors, not open on weekends though.

Worst case scenerio, try Ebay, I just purchased Weld on 16. 1.5 oz was enough to perform major repair on a 30 gallon sump that sustained major damage and I stil have solvent left over in tube.

Cheap price to IMO, $7 for 1.5oz and since I did not know if that would be enough, I purchased a 5oz for $11 and last night I lost and allowed my self to lose a lot of 3 5oz weld on 16 that sold for $8.50 for 3 tubes. I did not know this crap worked so well and needed to use to little of it, thank goodness I decided to repair the sump last night otherwise I may have engaged in a bidding war.

Just in case you or anyone in the future needs this stuff...when all else fails try Ebay.

Thanks to Mbg75 the sump mods are done! I am goign Monday morning to S&F to pick up some 4. I have a few acrylic projects I want to do.
