Came home today and found a spot on my sailfin's side and he can't move one of his fins. And that same side is swollen. I suspect it to be the lionfish. Anyone had this before. Will he be ok?

It might have been from the lionfish but without seeing it happen, it will always be a guess.

Is he breathing & eating normally? Is he still able to swim around the tank?
If so - just let him be and keep an eye on him.

I actually was planning on changing out the carbon, but I didn't yet. And he swims around but not as active though. He didn't want to eat yesterday, but he did today. It's wired that this happened overnight. I had plans for him to go into the 180

Is the 180 a new tank? (just curious) What size tank is he in currently?

I wouldn't do anything to stress him further at this point - like moving him.
Stay on top of the water parameters in the tank he is in currently and make sure he is getting a good diet - that includes seaweed & algae & also meaty foods.

Please do keep us updated on his condition?
