Anemone question

My rose bubble tip retreats into its hole once the lights go out every night. My tank raised clowns prefer to hang out in the corner of the tank anyway. Do your anemones do that? If so, what do your clowns do when the anemone shrinks into a hole?

Most of the time they hang around where the anemone is even though the lights are off.I've been trying the get mine to host my huge blue carpet.

My tru percula hosts my GBTA while it shrinks and while its fully openning that's normal

My clowns stay with the rbta the lay in it like a bed...

When the light goes out the anemone is expelling the water inside.

How big are the clowns and the anemone.

These clowns will not host it. The anemone is about 4 inches expanded. I'm just wondering what the clowns do when it's all shriveled up like that.

In the Wild they move to another anemone or get eaten by whatever sees them.

In your tank they can go hid peacefull or swim around and sleep.

The anemone is ok just doing its thing.

Tank raised clowns are totally different then wild caught. WC clowns dont know life without an anemone. Captive Bred dont know life with one.

So true. I had an RBTA for months with an onxy pair and they never even got close to it. I bought a occelaris and within 2 days was hosting the nem.
