Hi, ive had my tank running for about 4 weeks. Its a 65 gallon tank, i used all RO water with 80lbs of live sand and about 55lbs of live rock i had 2 damsels in there for about two weeks and now i took them out and now i have 2 ocellaris clownfish. they seem to be doing fine but i was just wondering if it is two soon to add a anemone to my tank. also i wanted to know if my light is strong enough to keep an anemone i have a 4 bulb t5 fixture 39w ea. any advice would greatly be appreciated.

You should really wait at least 6 months before getting an anemone. You have to make sure you have stability in your water parameters. Plus your light is kinda on he weak side for anemones

Fishman hit it on the mark with those two points. Your tank my look and read good, but 4-6 weeks is just not enough time for your tank to be stable. You already started good just try and hold for a bit more :) I know it's hard ;-)

wait. You've basically just finished cycling. Clowns and damsels are super hardy; anemones are super-sensitive. You light is probably marginal. How deep is the tank?

By the way, if you are getting the anemone for the clowns to host, keep your fingers crossed. A lot of tank-raised clowns don't seem to be interested in anemones these days.

Please do some research on "Anemone"! They are not as easy as you may think. Fishman & DAVMAN have already told you a little of the information you need. But you still need to learn a bit more about them, like what they eat & what lighting to provide for them.
Also, I imagine you want your anemone to host your clowns. Well, research that as well as not all anemone host all clownfish.;)
For the future, and just in case you don't know this please do not cycle a fish tank with live fish. It is not fair to put a fish no matter how hardy they may be through ammonia spikes that burn their gills.

I would wait close to a year... there are too many variables when it comes to anemones.... trust me... I have plenty of them in my tank.
1. Tank stability
2. Lighting
3. Water quality

These are the primary items you need to focus on before you even think about putting one into your tank.
An unstable tank will put stress on any nem and can mean quick demise. Strong lighting is needed for most nems... unless you are planning on raising mojanos or aiptasia. Water quality... this should speak for itself.
