LOL.. anyway.. paint color is preference. I used a light-ish blue color and I really like it. Most people spray paint the back. I used a roller/brush. It was a PITA and I don't really recommend it unless, like me, you can't use spray paint.

if your doing it in a house with the tank running i would not use spray paint at all. not only for the tank but for your lungs and health of the people in the household. use the paint i have uploaded on this thread. 4 - 5 coats with that roller in the picture as well and your good to go. i love the way the black looks. makes the tank look sharp well until the coraline algae takes ova.
