Yea if the price of the technology doesn't shoot up the prices they are at now. I'm sure we'll being seeing this technology incorporated down the line on most digital cameras and smart phones.

looking at the design/arrangement of the lenses, doesn't seem like it would work with a thin equipment like the iphone or ipad....perhaps installing the lenses length wise (along the long side of the ipad) may be an option.

Click on different spots on the pics! Where ever you click is where it will focus. I guess you didnt read about it, you just looked at the pics?

OK better but still for the price and you will probably use it only a few times only would buy it if I had no camera all ready and just buy that

I disagree. For those of us that don't have great camera skills, it will give us the ability to really showcase what we want to in the pics we take without anything ever being out of focus that we want people to see.
I spent good money on a D90 that I still haven't gotten good with a macro at all. If I had one of these, they may not be a macro but the quality of how the chosen focus point in those pics look better than pics I've taken my $1100 dollar setup.
I'm going to be purchasing one myself and I guarantee I'll be using it a lot as my tank progresses. I hope the improvements they're talking about making come fast. After that I'll be making he purchase.
