When I got this several years ago I got it from a member thats tank was leaking and was getting out of the hobby, I bought some things and this peace was in bad shape the person just gave it to me when I bought some othere things he told me it was a chalice???? I put it in my tank in the back and never thought much of it! I got LEDS a month or so and this peace liked the new light and looks a hell of alot better then when I got it

Looking at photos of chalice I dont think it is one it almost looks like a flat acan, and some time when I feed the tank it puts out feeder tenacles. let me know what you think. (sorry the photo is up side down )

I will also say be careful. Echinatas can be pretty aggressive with other corals. I've had them with 3-4" sweepers that were very potent.

You will not beleave what it looked like when I got it It was almost dead them started to come back but when I added the LEDS it realy colored up and I moved it to the front of the the tank, where it is it is not close to anything
