okay so here we go i looked at my tank this morning to find one of my corals looks like it has Alk burn and the other won't open his pylops and one more looks like the pylops are closing up so i tested my water and i will list the parameters below. the second question is has anyone ever use kent carbon i am looking for a good carbon that i could run through my TLF 150 reactor i have so any input would be nice. okay so below are the stats of my tank and a few pics to help out also just did a 20% water change yesterday i do them weekly.

Tank stats:
ALk- 9.6 Dkh
No3- 10ppm
Ca- 480ppm
Magnesium- 1410ppm
Phospahte- 0.25
PH- 8.30 @ 10am
Nitrite- 0ppm
Ammonia- 0.25
Salinity 1.027
Temp 78 deg.

i was always told that alk should be near 10 but i guess i will let it come down, working on No3 have to get new bio pellets, my tank has always been 460-480 with Ca, and I'm waiting for my rowaphos to come in the mail GFO doesn't seems o work for me i think it clashes with the Bio pellets, and this is the first time my ammonia has ever been that high I'm guessing cause my carbon ran out lol and why BRS carbon

I think your Alk. is fine. And I also wouldn't worry about the 10ppm of NO3, but your PO4 is very high and that is likely your biggest problem. Salinity is too high as well.

Do not use the Kent carbon as stated above. BRS is fine. ESV is fine, TLF is fine. Marineland is fine. It is said the ROX carbon is the best--I've never tried it.
