Why would I open the rockscape up to allow detritus to settle in? The rocks are open even though it is stacked. I am looking to possibly add in the near future, small snowflake eel, puffers=Dogface (I have a Picasso Huma Trigger, and clown) possibly a kole tang, and angel

you would be opening your rockscape up to NOT let detritus settle in. the way you have it now is the rocks are crammed to tightly together where the flow wont be able to penetrate through to keep the detritus from settling in. you can make caves and open up the scape and still have plenty of crevices for your eel to hide and swim through.

IMO I think you can do a much better rock work bro. If you look on the right side of the tank you have a bunch on rocks while on the left side you just have a piece of rock just stand there. Maybe add some rocks to the other side of the tank and make a small bridge over the to rocks.

Thanks yea I know I just put it in as I set it up and haven't had a change to rearrange but was worried about too many rocks. I think I will net the trigger and clown out while I rockscape and make it more opened. thanks

I did a water change and opened up my rockwork. As you see a Koralia 4 is located in the back bottom near overflow facing towards the front glass to keep detritus out. The side PH are pushing crap off the rocks One is front top and the other is bottom rear. I also took out some rocks that were just boulder and really didn't have any good spots. What do you think? Thanks

Trust me I have been tempted to get back into reef seeing the nice corals etc in the stores but its also very costly to maintain a reef compared to the FOWLR and you can get more aggressive fish and not worry about fish nipping at your prized corals.
