This acro is slowly depleting the bottom is disappearing but I haven't seen anything eating it.
Any ideas? It's the only acro in the tank I do have other sps

is it RTN/STNing or just pale?...is it a new addition?...if not I find that many of my colonies as they grow they block out the light from reaching the bottom, but more importantly the flow which I have to adjust.

just monitor it because if it gets worst very quickly it can be AEFW. just lost my colony to that unfortunately.

That's what I was thinking, if all else is healthy it may just b lack of light but growth on top.. Maybe blast it w a turkey Baster see if anything comes off!?

I blew the acro off this morning didn't really see much come off it. I believe it is still slowly depleting, I moved it up higher in the tank and in a higher flow area hopeful it will come back.
Thx for the info!

U need a better shot of what came off. Too blurry. Sort of looks like amphipods. But only a better picture will help. Also saw your nitrates are at 10. And Alk at 11.5 , not ideal , but I guess not completely uneceptable. In smaller tanks I feel u should try and keep a completely low nutrient system before keeping large sps. IMO.
