I'm leaving the country on Saturday morning for 8 days and need both apex units working.....I got one in my computer room which works fine except I can't get the port forwarding to work through the Fios router to get it to work on my phone....and the apex in my living room I can't even get it on my computer screen.....when I had Timewarner cable everything was fine when I switched to Fios all hell broke loose.......if you can come by tonight or tomorrow please let me know .......

James maybe try to change port for 50 if you have 80...
Did you try that?

best bet is to call apex they take over your computer and fix everything in like 10 min i just did it today should have done it weeks ago working like a charm now

The proble is that if you are using the default settings they are both using APEX as hostname. Gonna screw it up

Oh btw the only thing that I forgot to mention last night.... They way that you have the email set up, you only get text messages you can actually have it email you also.

In the Network Configuration... the email section.

Change "To: address" from the address that is currently there to your REAL email address..... What that does is only uses the gmx as basically a hop, so that system will forward the alarms to your reg email. Unless you use the gmx for real.
