Okay, I got nervous about the wave breaking my tank too, as to create a wave, you must get the frequency of the wave to *Somewhat* match the natural frequency of the tank. So I asked my physics teacher. He says that in order to break the tank, or dislodge the silicone from the glass, the frequency of the wave must be incredibly high. To let me get a bearing he compared it to sound. You know that ridiculous frequency you need to shatter glass? You need that frequency, in waves. I believe that ecotech must put that statement in the manual to release them of all liability as anything is possible. Im open to the flaming as Im sure ill get some, but I trust my IB teacher more than what I read on the internet about it.
Needless to say, Im running the Mp40 with about 1/2 waves and am totally confident. If the waves are rocking your tank, thats another story I believe.
