Which controller should i buy???

just got to my other job... yes @widdy i am trying to figure it out.... so far i know that i need a new router because the one i have now does not have the quick connect button so i tried to install my adapter manually and it is proving difficult... i put timers on my lights and set my fan to turn on at 80 and off at 78... also i programmed my apex to turn off my heater and lights if my tank gets hotter than 83 degrees...

i neeed a new router because theres a button on the wireless gaming adapter that you press to sync with your router..... Only problem is theres no button on my router to press to sync them both so i had to do it mannually which didnt work... But if i buy a new router with this button feature i should be able to sync them... what you think Widdy?

yes thats the adapter and manual i have.. Its extremely straight foward but very vague when it comes to trouble shooting... and i plan on buying the new router tomm when im free.... wont be getting out of work till ten and best buy will be closed by then

For me I just dont think it will have any benefit. I have a digital temp but w all the water I have these controllers really make no difference.. My ai's are controlled, tunzes will be next... And until they have a pc that monitors everything I don't think I'll be getting one.( Well I'm sure the temp feature is good if on vacation and w emails etc.. )

Well I don't gonna tell you what Apex can do cause can do a lot just gonna tell for example what my is doing :)
I have two temp probes one in my tank and second one in the sump apex is monitoring the temp all the time (chiller heater)... Of course pH monitoring, ORP and salinity, it controls my led cannon pendants sunrise - sunshine etc. my MP60w ES is connected to the apex and that's the best IMO module I've ever got... I have programmed different pump cycles during the day and night and don't have to touch pump controller.
Lunar simulator is also connected to the Apex :)
But the main part of those gadgets is security... Leak detector in the cabinet ( I had situations when my skimmer filled the collection cup and splash water outside sump now detector is shutting off the skimmer if it feels any drop of water) ATO directly from RO filter using solenoid valve, skimmer water level security, if the durso pipe gonna flake (happen to me few times cause is not glued into the bulkhead in overflow) and all water from overflow gonna drain down to the sump the water level gonna raise up and all dirty stuff from collection cup gonna go back to the system - no more 1/2" higher and apex is turning off the skimmer...
Water level in the overflow if something gonna get stuck in the drain line apex will turn off the red dragon, plus (one of my favorite) I have several programs for feeding/maintenance time. For water changing I need 45 min so apex is turning off skimmer, all circulation pumps, main pump and whatever else you need, same when I need to direct feed my corals :)
Friend of mine has daily water change program and apex is draining 4 gal of water from his tank and pumping back fresh mix...
Anytime something is going wrong I'm getting text message and email...
I really like this gadget ;)

Wow mark thats the definition of using it to the full potential... i just got it and im stuck on connecting it to the internet.... i also plan on controlling my tunzee pumps with it and setting variable conditions throughout the day that you could probably help me with setting up...
