when should my light turn on and off

im just wondering when every has there lights turn on and off during the day .. when do you have your blue lights turn on /off and whites turn on/off and same with the moon

Actinics on around 1, white on around 230, white off around 830, and blues off at 10. I think that may still be too much tho, new.set.up still tweakin it

mystical you only have a 6 hour photo period, that is not to much keep it that way or increase if anything.

mine runs 10am blues on,
11am all 6 bulbs on
7pm blues only on
10 pm all lights off

anyways I run my LEDs at 40 White 90 Blue 90 Royal blue. Turns on at 11 turns off at 10.

I'd base your lighting schedule around your work/home schedule. Not sure why you'd want to light your tank for almost a full lighting cycle while you're out of your home and not able to enjoy it. Set your lighting schedule based on when you're returning home from work and able to see your creation. Your fish and coral don't understand and know the difference between midnight as your high noon or having your cycle mimic true daylight.

If your getting algae blooms , it's either because A - it's time to replace your bulbs - B - your nutrients are to hight -or C - u need to check twice on the filtration system you have running down below !

this is my lighting schedule i have 3 led fixtures about 12inches from water
12-8pm both white and blues are on
8-12am only blues are on
12am threw 12pm moon lights are on
that works for me i started a thread about how many hours of lighting i should do cuz i was getting led and no one commented so i made my own hours lol and its working fine
