That's an ignorant remark to make as a hobbiest! You're not taking a chance with an inanimate object, you're talking about a living fish. Alfie is giving you some sound advice for you not to get that fish, the moorish idol that is, and I would really listen. You will most likely kill it, if it's not right away down the line it will die since due to their delicate nature and specific diet they don't thrive in captivity. This is one of those things in the hobby that are meant to just stay in the ocean.

Not to mention, you only have a 60 gallon for a rather large fish, especially if you want a hippo tang as well. And from your choice of fish, don't think that recreating finding Nemo is easy as you may think it is.

Ive kept a moorish idol before and it fine in my other tank. no harm intended to the creature.The blue hippo is notorious for getting ick so thats what I must consider

I hope you have thought about everything clearly because I'm with Albano and reef4life on this one. Once you get ich in the tank your back to square 1 buddy. So think about it real carefully.

Thanks for the advice Angelo. I thought I'd go with what I've wanted ever since I got into the hobby, but will ensure their will be no ick. I am already feeding with garlic and being over sensitive lol. I saw that thread with your clown. Great pickup!!!

Btw: Morrish idol wasn't the choice. It's a bit of a challenge I may not be able to put up with at the time being
