More info is needed, what size and type tank, what are your readings, is the fish new or have you had it for quite some time, how are the other fish reacting and have you added anything recently, like new fish, inverts or corals. Also have you added anything to the tank, like chemical or done water changes recently.
The only 2 naso ive had did the same thing and both died...they were totally fine eating everything ..the next day got up n they didnt look good labored breathing n died by end of day
i added 4 anemones, 4 shrimps, 15 crabs and 15 snails. i have a 75 gallon tank with live rock and blue hippo yellow tang yellow eye kole purple tang and 2 little clown fish all my reading are perfect tested everything twice
all my other fish are acting normal they are all swimming and eating great but the naso tang was always alone never interacting with the other fish and i only seen it about once or twice. is there anything i can do to save it
First, that's a lot of fish for a 75gal tank, with live rock in it too. Naso need a good size tank with a lot of swimming room or they usually become stressed out and die. It possible that the Naso is having problems with one of the other tangs or just that many in such a small tank is the problem.
Aggression might happen when youre not looking, thats a fairly large fish for a 75 so its not uncommon for them to get stressed out easily...or like sthill said...too much tequila last night
Lol I was thinking the same thing. If you think keeping 5 nice size tangs in a 75 gallon is acceptable then you seriously need to do some research. I feel bad for your fish which are probably trying to joust eachother and your probably like wow my tangs are giving high fives with their tails. I'm sorry if this posts bothers you but do some research before you buy livestock for their sake.
