Hey whats a good sand sifting fish that is reef safe and most likely will not drop the sand all over the coral. I had a diamond head goby but that guy dropped sand everyday.

All sand sifting fish make a mess. Sand sifting starfish wont make a mess.

Hey i posted this prior to what you wrote on the other post. I am attempting everything else first. Then another purchase will be a last resort.

My fighting conch kept the sand bed pretty clean, and hermits also turned over the sand.

Nassarius snails keep my sandbed fairly clean.

Sand sifting starfish wont make a mess.

IMO unless you have a big tank with a DSB, it will eventually eat EVERYTHING (all critters & worms) in your sandbed. if/when not enough food, it may die in your sandbed spiking the ammonia. my nassi snails and zebra & neon blue hermits keep my sand clean. :tongue1:
