This is going to be a must for this summer. Great for large tanks. Works flawlessly and kept my 570 gallon system at 78 degrees steady last summer in a 90 degree room.

Well if I remember correctly it draws roughly 9.6 amps. So that would be 1,152 watts. At an average 12 cents per kwh and running about 3 hours a day. (on and off periodically) the electric bill would be $12.44 per month to run the chiller alone. Thats not including a feed pump but I had mine plumbed into the main return.

how much did your monthly electric bill rise running that thing over the summer?
