I agree with you that you don't have to have all the name brand top end stuff to run a successful tank but as you go forward their benefits will be very helpful.

I didn't dose and kept a very simple system for the first year but when frags became colonies and my taste gravitated to more sensitive corals. Water parameters, temperature and everything needed to be on point and more equipment just made life easier.

They aren't necessary but makes life easier. We should all be humble even if we are in the hobby for years.

I have another $10 fa, but if it'll make you feel better guy you can come over and kill some of my corals to satisfy your need for other reefers failures.

When I have those sensitive corals and sps colonies you speak of ill consider it. But I don't. People used to tell me you need a calcium reactor and uv and controllers and gfo reactors and ato and this and that. Just because you need it for your set up doesn't mean we all do. Especially nano tanks. You act like I want my tank to fail lol

When the fire department is trying to put out a fire on thd 7th floor in an apartment building due to a $10 fan that was left on for a week straight youll be the oneto blame for dead coral not me..I'm done with you an your lack of experience good luck
