Not sure how you would get a CO2 tank filled at a SCUBA shop. Divers do not use that underwater. You will find compressed air in different concentrations of O2. But no CO2 at all.

Yeah we spoke about the pooches:)
No need for you to apologize, you looked for info because you wanted to do the right hing. Good man. Yeah the guys at 22&13 are good guys. A bud of mine served there until getting promoted. If you ever need anything they can help you with walk over and ask. Guarantee they'll help.

I don't do it anymore man. Was a great job ruined by an act and that's as far as ill go into that.

Anytime I can possibly help don't hesitate to ask.

You're a good dude, don't let anyone say otherwise (COUGH) Yeah every time I walked past that house the doors were open and they were showing a kid or kids around the gear. Good for them. I know they had it rough 12 years ago too.

I'm definitely going to look into a calcium reactor now. Probably won't move on it till after Christmas and my wallet recovers, but assuming that fire extinguisher company can fill a bottle for me, I'm gonna push the button and stop filling jugs of calcium solution. It's only a 10 minute cab ride from my place. I live 2 blocks from Engine 44 now. Apparently I like living near the fire department?

I'm a research nut... my wife makes fun of me... there's a joke among engineers that sometimes the best way to go into production on a new product is to shoot the engineer because if left to their own devices he/she will continue to just engineer the product to death and never build it. There's a reason I'm an EE, or used to be...

1+ sorry if it's off top but your pup is adorable...how many weeks is she btw?

No sorry at all! The puppy pictures were meant to get the thread back into positive territory and out of the trolling chum :) The last picture, the one with the stick, was taken just this Sunday. As she was born August 1st, that makes her a tad past 3 1/2 months. We got he at just short of 8 weeks. Here's a picture of her in the car ride home, that first day. She's grown SOOOOOOOOOOOO much. Doubled in weight, not sure on the other stats.

That's the cutest co2 tank I ever seen!

This made me actually LOL. Like for real. Out loud. I think Penny heard me :)

Check the nudibar Wednesday or Thursday...I'm going to make a thread for her so people can enjoy the cute explosion. PS we were walking her tonight and 4 drunk women came tearing out of a bar on 1st ave to play with her. Fortunately she had already emptied the tanks. LOL

Thanks man. Well living near a firehouse is great. Quicker responses because no traffic to get there. The weird thing is that both houses you lived near I had close personal friends(from outside the FDNY as well as on the job obviously) serve in.

Lol too bad you're married!! As in you'd have women lined up to play with the pup. Lol

You can get tanks deliver to you house but call up a company and ask them what are the steps to do this if they ask if you have a business or say business only tell them you grow and sell coral for a living or you're a horticulturalist just make something up

I used it for fresh water planted tanks and greenhouses

There's a welding supply store on 52nd and 11th ave called McKinney Welding. What you do is bring your empty tank to them and swap out for a filled tank, costs $12 for a 5lb tank. If your tank is brand new and you don't want to swap out, you can leave it with them and pick up later. Here's their info:

600 West 52nd Street (between 11th and 12th ave)
New York, NY 10019
Phone: 212-246-4305 Fax: 212-582-3105
