What kind of fish should I put in my ten gallon reef? I have a sump with a powerful skmmer I have in mind clown fish but I wants something different!!! Everyone has clown fish and if I'm gonna spend money on designer clowns I rather spend the money on a different cooler fish give me some ideas please I also have a tank threadcheck it out

Clowns are cool and they don't have to be designer. Royal gramma is cool but they hide alot. I would go with two clowns and a rbta...

also i have a royal gamma and hes like a camera hog and love to be in the front i guess when they get used to the tank they will come out. ? only had him about 3 months. hes a fat piggy too.


i would go with these guys too, Helfrichi Firefish there so colorful and beautiful.

I see my pom pom like once a month. Helfrichi are awesome but jumpers. I am in love with my high fin perchlet.

Next Im adding a high fin banded goby or dracula goby.

Possum wrasse, can't say I've ever seen one in anyone's tank and I lean toward wrasse family overall. The perchlet posted is really cool looking, if want to get different clowns get naked ones. They don't seem to be as popular as designer ones

Geometric pygmy hawkfish

They stay close to the rockwork and you have to really look for them. I have two in my 150 and only see them maybe once a week. But in your 10 gallon you should see it all the time.

That and a goby pistol shrimp combo.
