Jeabo 40 dead after 6 months

I purchased a Jeabo 40 in June. It is already dead after 6 months, anyone else have a problem with theirs. And does anyone know the warranty on them

Where did you purchase should be covered I believe but not sure how long they have never had an issue sending extra parts if needed.

Are you sure it's not the power supply? I have two, one of them I had to replace the power supply after 2 months. The other no problems so far.

Check Amazon for a new power supply.

So far my 7 month old wp25 is working better than my 3 day old mp10.

Jebao They can ship u a new motor for it for $20 worst case scenario.

If you disconnect the motor and take it out of the water to let it dry for a couple of hours and then plug it back in it works, put it in the water and in less then a minute it shuts down.

Jeabo just e mailed me to pay 25.00 shipping and they will replace it.

I just tried it again out of water ran less than a minute out of water to.I guess their is a short inside motor

so far both my WP25's are still working like new. Cleaned them last night They are like new again. forgot how power full these dang things are.

Also for the WP40, Have you ever dropped the controller? gotten it wet?

No never dropped it ,I had two because I purchased one of the upgraded ones so the first thing I did was swap out controller to see if that was the problem.

Ecotech will send you a replacement for free with a self addressed return envelope and the stuff is at your door within 3 days or so. Just saying. Not saying anything bad about these, just a reminder on how great ecotech is if ever an issue with their products.

I and a vendor had a conversation about this exact situation when everyone jumped on the how great these things are bandwagon when there were none out here for any length of time yet.

Six months or less after people buying them they're starting to die on people. We'll see what happens.

That's true, but, i don't think its a fair comparison. to buy a MP40 you have to send 3.5 times as much. You should be getting that kind of service. I don't think anyone that bought this pump, including myself with two, is expecting the same type of customer service as Ecotech.

For the price, i think they are a good deal, even if i had to spend another $15 on a new power supply. If they last me two years i'm Ok with that.
