Taped bag

I never seen this done before. After the worker bagged my fish he folded the corners over and taped it. He said that fish sometimes get crushed when in the corner. The worker also said this is how they recieve their fish. Thought it was intresting enough to share.

Yes it can happen since the fish try to find any corner. Thats a good fish store that cares.

When I used to work for a fish store back in college, I used to invert the 2nd bag when double bagging to prevent corners and the 2nd bag was also in case the first bag leaked.

Dude the fish is a big blur in all the pictures...only the first one has any kind of clarity and not a lot..maybe some kind of algae blenny maybe?

It's a Diana Hogfish. I would have posted a picture of her but I haven't seen her in a couple of days. I have the feeling I won't have anymore opportunities to take a picture of her, those pictures are it.

It was put in a reef and once it got larger a fish only tank with a few random softies.
