Yellow tang?WHITE

Hey guys I have a yellow tang, well I had him for over 2years and just resent he being acting strange. He's not swimming the way he normally does, and He has some whiting around the face, more over the eyes, pls shine a light of knowledge to me.

What size tank you have? Maybe your yellow tang is catching ich it could also be that your one of your other tangs could be bothering it too.

my chevron has that whitish face, not spots. was told it sounds like lateral line decease. not much you can do from what i read.
read to mix selcon in food seems to be clearing up slowly.

90g and 30g sump it give the nori morning and night with frozen in between with more nori.

That can probably be the problem. Since there both same shape not size but shape and also since PT are more aggressive then yellow tangs.

I had this happen to a orange shoulder tang. One day he turned almost completely white. Two days later back to normal and he lived for about 4 more years. There have been white yellow tangs and tangs some stay white and some change back. i dont know why

Is nori (sea weed) I get that stuff by the bag.

Its def not the same stuff. I would try it or try hikari brine with spirulina.

Your right spirulina is way more beneficial, but way more expensive..
