Tank Of The Month.

After taking the time to look at so many tank builds and seeing so many beautiful tanks out there I feel we should bring back Tank Of The Month. I personally don't believe in the curse stuff. I feel if your going to have tank issues it's happening regardless. Not just cause you were selected tank of the month. This would be a great way to recognize those who work so hard to keep their tanks looking amazing and will hopefully motivate those who don't. If not tank of the month then maybe quarterly tank award.

Please tell me what you think.

A few points to remember..


1- We will be having a Tank of the Season - ideally 4 per year. Trying to do a TOTM is near impossible due to the amount of time it takes to prep for it. Sorry for missing the Fall ToTS - I got hurt in late Aug and it took everything I had just to handle swap business. The Mods here volunteer their time and have to balance it with our careers, families and all else that life throws at us.


2- We don't take 'nominations' from the membership, so this doesn't become a popularity contest. We choose our winners based on what we see in the Tank Threads Forum.


3- We won't have different categories for LPS/SPS tanks as we don't see the need and the majority of tanks here are mixed reefs.


4- We hope to have the next thread up in late January/early February.


Thanks for your interest & we also look forward to getting the ToTS back up & running :)
