I think I just lost my last helfrichi :( My heaters have not been working woke up today and again my temps were down in the 60's. Im so sad they are my favorite. However I might just give up.

I boycott my tank when this happens

For about a week then I am back at wasting "investing" time and money's

Male Flame Wrass $200
One week in I found him up against my MP40 Dead.
I'm guessing he was to close to the MP when the feeding cycle was over and it kicked back on and sucked him to it. I did not find him until the morning:(

Most u guys have ridiculous fast growth on corals and frag everythig and make a ton of money. So how is that a money pit? 1 swap meeting basically pays for your tanks and everything else is profit$$. When I figure out how to grow corals I'll be doing the same :) .

LOL you think its free to have that growth... Use a real salt and do 20% weekly water changes, get your nitrates down to where they should be and you'll start to see the growth you want.. and stop rescaping once a month. Let things be for three months while you do the rest of the above and you too can start selling frags.

I feel like i should be adding an annoying web popup or flashing an 800 number with that advice lol

Most I paid for a frag was $40 and $75 for my mandarin who eats frozen food :)

Maximum Reef aquatics sells them for about $50 to the general public.

If you are a regular at a particular store you can also drive the price down but Max Reefs has them cheap.

I dont buy one bc firefish seem to just die after a while but this type is very attractive, adds color to the tank.

had ours for a while now going on a few months forget how many but it is one pretty fish, and yes max reef has some nice prices on fish! they always do.

How about wrasses that we buy as females and turn into males. That's doubling your money , happens to me all the time. Femenines wrasse for a 1000 as female now it's male for 2000 that's not bad for one fish.

Does anyone actually know what these peppermints went for? I believe 30k was the price that was offered to Waikiki's aquarium to part with theirs.
From the looks of it, a lot of deaths supposedly happened after people did a massive water change. Plus one scared to death by the removal/move of the landscape to catch another angel.

Hedgedrew's tanks are gorgeous... not talking about gallons or dollars. Just beautiful tanks.
