3 Things that will lead you away from failure in a saltwater hobby.

1. Knowledge
2. Husbandry (care and maintenance of the tank)
3. Patience, patience and more patience

Accidents can and will happen. Most people jump out of the hobby due to ignorance that caused a major mishap. Not leveling a tank, no safeguards for top off or RO/DI shutoff, Overstocking, lack of maintenance, no Quarantine, wrong species integration, buying cheap equipment or wrong equipment, lack of time for the hobby, expenses and no backup for equipment failures.

Having a trustworthy source of information is essential for a successful tank and having friends in the hobby are the biggest assets I can think of.

A snail or two plus an Acro frag and zoo frag I placed to experiment with the lighting. Fish were all fine.
